STAT Tutoring

The mission of the WVU Statistics Tutoring Center or "center" is to progress student understanding within statistical coursework. The center currently offers in-person, drop-in, no-additional-charge Statistics tutoring for WVU students with a focus on STAT 111, 211, 215, and 312. See our hours of operation. You can use the tutor profiles to find a match, possibly for some upper-level STAT class.

Additional Notes: The center has 5 PCs with current versions of JMP Pro and Project R, and any WVU student is welcome to use these computers when the center is open. The center is open during the regular fall and spring semesters on days when WVU has classes. It is closed during breaks, finals, and summer. The center is not intended to support WVU-related statistical consulting, but some tutors may be able to provide limited research support subject to their background and availability.
